In addition, each apartment has a common area that includes a kitchen facility, dining room table, couch, chair, fireplace, telephone (out going call only by calling card), a satellite TV with a European VCR. Clean sheets and towels are provided upon arrival and midway through the workshop. Le Casacce has its own restaurant that is famous throughout the region. During our stay we will have our morning and evening meals at the restaurant. Our breakfast will consist of sliced meats, scrambled eggs, sweet rolls, dry cereals, milk, assorted fruits, yogurts, coffee, tea, home made bread, jams and sweet cakes. Lunch will be a “box lunch” consisting of a piece of fruit, sandwich and a small bottle of water. Our dinner will include a variety of Italian dishes created by Enrico, owner and chef.  His talents will include traditional gourmet soups, salads, a variety of entrées, fruit and desserts. Local wines, bottled water and special Italian coffee are NOT included but can be purchased as used.

ROOM MATES
If you wish to have a roommate but do not know another person on the trip, we will do our best to assign a roommate of the same gender. If this is not possible, you must be prepared to pay a single supplement price.

INCENTIVE PROGRAM

Those individuals who can encourage 10 people or less to join them on either the Artist or Cooking workshops can earn a SUB-STANTIAL DISCOUNT to their own cost. The discounts are based on the number of people you sign up for the program. Example: if you sign up 10 people you will earn the total cost of the program plus $900 toward your air fare. As the number of people declines...so does the discount. Bring 2 people and earn $600 etc.

FINANCIAL INFORMATION AT A GLANCE

COST:  $3,100 per person double occupancy
DEPOSIT: $500 received no later than Dec. 15, 2008
FULL PAYMENT: $2,600 due no later than Jan. 1, 2009

CANCELLATION POLICY
If cancellation is requested in writing between the dates of Dec. 15, 2008 and Jan 1, 2009 all monies will be returned to the applicant minus an administrative fee of $300. If, after Jan. 1, 2009, a cancellation is requested in writing, no monies will be reimbursed to applicant unless that individual’s space can be resold. If the space is resold, all monies less $300 will be reimbursed to the applicant. No refund will be given to an applicant who does not participate or complete the workshop or the field activities. 

Magic Palette Workshops and/or instructor reserve the right to cancel the workshop for whatever reason necessary. All deposits and/or full payments for the workshop will be reimbursed to the participant immediately upon an announced cancellation.

NOTE: If, after a full payment has been made, a substantial increase in the conversion tables that govern the Euro dollar to the U.S. funds should occur, the applicant will be notified and charged the increase accordingly….. before their departure for Europe.
